1287338 ABS resin compositions MONSANTO CHEMICALS Ltd 19 April 1971 [23 March 1970] 13843/70 Heading C3P Thermoplastic compositions comprise (a) an ABS resin, (b) up to 7 wt. per cent of a diethanolamide of a C 10-14 fatty acid, and (c) up to 7 wt. per cent of an alkyl ester of a C 6-35 fatty acid, the alkyl ester having a solubility parameter of 8À0- 8À4. An exemplified composition comprises a blend of 3 different ABS resins, TiO 2 , 2,6-ditertbutyl-p-cresol, n-butyl stearate and coconut fatty acid diethanolamide, the composition being extruded into pellets and then injection moulded to form a container.
