Abstract

1386548 Polyester moulding compositions CIBA-GEIGY AG 6 April 1973 [24 April 1972] 16729/73 Heading C3R A polyester moulding composition comprises: (a) 55 to 90% by weight, based on the combined weight of (a) and (b), of a saturated polyester derived from terephthalic acid and butylene glycol, and (b) 10 to 45% by weight, based on the combined weight of (a) and (b), of a saturated polyester derived from terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol. The composition may also contain 5 to 50% by weight, based on the total weight of the composition, of glass fibres. The examples describe moulding compositions containing polybutylene terephthalate, polyethylene terephthalate and optionally glass fibres.
