Abstract
128,728. Embrey, H. P., and Embrey, L. June 25, 1918. Proving-appliances.-Consists of a number of superposed sector or like shaped trays 1 mounted removably on a vertical shaft 9 so that each can be independently rotated. The trays are nested beneath a work table 2 or within an open-fronted casing. Each tray comprises a boss 3 having webs 4 to which T-shaped radial arms 5 are attached. These arms support a wooden bottom 6 and an outer wooden rim 7, which may be protected on the outside by sheet metal. The trays are used in succession, each being rotated so as to bring it, as shown in thick lines in Fig. 1, from beneath the top, in which position it can be charged or discharged by hand. When moved to the position indicated in dotted lines, the trays are enclosed beneath the table. Specifications 126/14 and 11724/14, [both in Class 87 (ii), Moulding plastic &c. substances], which describe moulding-apparatus 12 mounted upon the table, are referred to. A travelling band shaper 13 of a known form may also be mounted on the table.
