1286294 Expansion pipe joints BROCKING- TON & SCOTT Ltd 17 Nov 1970 [26 Nov 1969] 57746/69 Heading F2G A tubular bellows connecting pipe ends 13, 14, liable to relative axial movement, comprises a corrugated section 10 and end sections 11, 12, clamped by tightenable bands 19 around the respective pipe ends, the end sections being shaped to provide inwardly-facing annular grooves 15 in which sealing rings 16 are located. As shown, the free end of section 11 is flared, to retain the associated band 19, and pipe end 13 is formed with an external annular groove 20.
