Abstract

128,536. Candlot, C. June 17, 1918, [Convention date]. Continuous-discharge apparatus with moving containers.-Relates to continuous apparatus for mixing concrete &c. The materials are supplied to separate hoppers from which they are delivered to a receptacle supplied with water and then pass to a rotary drum. An elevator carries the cement, sand, and gravel or pebbles to the hoppers 1, 2, 3 under which are arranged rotary distributors 4, 5, 6 for transferring the materials through conduits 8, 9, 10, to a mixing receptacle 11. Water is supplied to the receptacle by a pipe 12. The mixed materials pass through a hopper 14 to a rotary drum 15 provided with blades 16 and are delivered to a receptacle &c. 19. The distributors and drum are driven through belt &c. gearing.
