Bottling.-A bottle - filling machine comprises a cylindrical outer casing 1 having air inlets 4 at the top, discharge ports 2 at the bottom, and a liquid inlet 7 at one side, and containing a revolvable inner casing consisting of a number of connected cylindrical elements 9 each having ports 10, 11, 12 to register with the ports of the outer casing. The cylinders 9 are connected by pins 13 and operated by means of a handle 18 on the cover 15 of the end cylinder. Stops 17 on the end plate 16 of the casing 1 limit the movement of the handle 18. The inlet 7 delivers the liquid from a reservoir 21 into a longitudinal groove 8 on the inner surface of the casing 1, and glass tubes 5 are connected by flexible pipes 6 to air-pipes 5<1> which, with the discharge pipes, are inserted in the mouths of the bottles 23. When the handle 18 engages the upper stop 17, liquid passes from the reservoir 21 through the ports 7, 10 into the inner casing, and air escapes by the ports 12, 4.
