Abstract

1284124 Bonded fibre fabrics KKK KROYER 13 July 1970 [24 July 1969] 37287/69 Heading D1R Fibre pulp is dyed before or during treatment in a defibrillator, then laid onto a porous support by a stream of gas and subsequently bonded with a latex binder. A web of cellulosic or waste leather pulp may be sprayed with dye solution or impregnated with the solution, either by passing through a set of rollers, one of which is continuously moistened with the solution, or by passing the web through a bath. Alternatively dye solution, or a solid dye, may be introduced into the defibrillator. Preferably the solution is of water and ethanol or other water-miscible solvent, and may also contain surface active agents, polymerisation catalysts and coagulating agents. Most of the liquid is evaporated during defibrillation.
