1283772 Optical projection apparatus LEYLAND PHOTOCOPYING Ltd 17 April 1970 [25 Jan 1969] 4345/69 Heading G2A In a projection apparatus for microfilm or other transparencies, the projected image size and focus are controlled by fluid-pressure operable means, a cylinder 13 and pistons 14 acting to displace a carriage 15 bearing projection lens 40 along slide rods 12 for focusing, and interconnected cylinders 1 and 8 with pistons 2 and 9 acting respectively to displace mirror 5 on carriage 3 along slide rods 4, and to displace on rods 11 the yoke 10 bearing the slide rods 12, to vary the size of image projected on to screen 26. Lamp and condenser mounting 1À8 and transparency carrier 17 are fixed on rods 12, cooling air being provided by fan 24. Sensitive paper may be located over screen 26 against stop 28.
