Abstract

1282593 Sanitary products REIGEL TEXTILE CORP 25 June 1969 [25 June 1968 5 Feb 1969] 32100/69 Addition to 1180801 Heading A5R [Also in Divisions D1 D2] A fluffed fibrous pulp material is made by impregnating a cellulose pulp board throughout with an amount within the range 0.1 to 1.0% by weight of a cationic surfactant debonding agent having at least twelve carbon atoms in at least one alkyl or alkenyl chain such that the tensile strength of the board is reduced to not more than one third, mechanically defibring the board and air-laying the fibres. Such material may be used as an interior pad of absorbent material in a sanitary product.
