Abstract

1282304 Electrostatic precipitators LODGE COTTRELL Ltd 17 March 1970 [3 April 1969 17 Oct 1969] 17631/69 and 51007/69 Heading B2J An electro-precipitator discharge electrode support structure comprises a plurality of vertical elongated support members 32 which extend upwardly from a central region which consists of a bracing cage 64 which connects the support members 32 of the upper portion to support members 32 of a lower portion. As shown the support members are formed with cross-members 46 on which are mounted twisted discharge wires 48a. The cage 64 comprises a plurality of upper horizontal rectangular tubes 76 to which the upper members 32 are connected and lower tubes 78 to which the lower members 32 are connected. Horizontal end struts 80, 84 connect the tubes 76, 78.
