1279860 Bars CONTRAYES AG 25 Aug 1969 [13 Sept 1968] 42223/69 Heading E1K [Also in Division D1] A bar comprises a first member 1 having longitudinal edge recesses 121-124 in which reinforcing members 21-24 are located, material of the reinforcing members having a greater modulus of elasticity than that of member 1. The portion 1 is hollow and filled with low density material. Reinforcing members 21-24 are of steel. In Fig. 3 (not shown) a member 1 is formed of cellular material and together with reinforcements 21-24 is covered by a layer 3.
