1279432 Floor spring door closer STANMORE SPRINGS Ltd 6 May 1970 [3 June 1969] 28062/69 Heading E2M In a hydraulic check door floor spring, the spring mechanism is mounted in a frame carried in a housing, the frame being rotatable about the axis of rotation of the door and lockable in the housing in a rotationally adjusted position. In the figure, frame 12 is mounted in housing 10 and carries door closing mechanism 14. Slots 22 of arcuate form, the centre of curvature of the arcs coinciding with the axis of door stub 16, support screws 24 which clamp flange 18 to shoulder 20 of the housing when tightened. Jacking screws 32, 34, engaging in tapped holes in block 26, provide means of adjusting the angular position of frame 12 in housing 10.
