Abstract

127,862. Flower, S. A. June 5, 1917. Addition to 125,398. Aerostats.-Comprises a modification of the system of wiring connecting the transverse frames of the rigid air-ship described in the parent Specification. The inner edges a<1> b<1> of consecutive transverse frames A, B are connected by right and left handed inclined wires c and by longitudinal wires d, and the outer edges a<2>, b<2> are connected together by longitudinal wires f. In addition, right and left handed inclined wires e connect the outer edge of one frame to the inner edge of the next. The wires c, which enclose the gas-bags, may be replaced by cords of hemp &c.
