1278059 Sodium percarbonate SOLVAY & CIE 12 Nov 1969 [20 Nov 1968] 55320/69 Heading C1A Sodium percarbonate having a specific gravity in free flow below 0À7 g./c.c. is prepared by crystallization from a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and sodium carbonate containing 0À01 -5%, relative to the weight of the percarbonate, of an alkali metal or ammonium orthophosphate, pyrophosphate, tripolyphosphate or a polyphosphate having an Me 2 O/P 2 O 5 mole ratio between 1À4 and 1À1 (Me = alkali metal or ammonium). The sodium carbonate used should not be in the form of sodium carbonate decahydrate.
