Abstract
1277956 Electric signalling ACTUATED ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS Ltd 30 Dec 1970 [1 Oct 1969] 48139/69 Heading G4F A vehicle control system for use at a weighbridge comprises a detector pad 1 on the weighbridge which when contacted by the wheels of a vehicle triggers a bi-stable electrical circuit 3 causing energization of a first signal device 6 visible to the driver of the vehicle and a second signal device 7 visible to the weighbridge operator; the system also includes a re-set switch 8 for use by the weighbridge operator to deenergize the signal devices. As shown, two coupled transistors T1, T2 form the bi-stable electrical circuit, transistors T3, T4 form an output switching stage, and relays 2, 2a, 5, 5a, and 9, 9a control operation of the signals. An additional lamp 11 is positioned adjacent the pad.
