1277842 Bunch wrapping machines ROSE FORGROVE Ltd 19 April 1971 [9 March 1970] 11093/70 Heading B8C In a bunch wrapping machine having a pusher 22 passing through a pocket 12 in an intermittently movable feed wheel 11 to carry an article such as a sweet 13 and a superimposed wrapper 21 through a folding box 23 to a pocket 14 of an intermittently movable mould wheel 16 mounted on a horizontal axis, the folding box 23 is mounted on a rod 26 reciprocating in timed relationship with respect to the pusher 22 and a wrapper-nipping member 31 is mounted on a reciprocating rod 28 so that the length of stalk and the corresponding length of stroke of the member 31 is kept low to avoid interference with the hub or shaft of the mould wheel 16.
