Abstract

1277656 Electrostatic printing EASTMAN KODAK CO. 26 June 1969 [1 July 1968] No. 32329/69 Heading B6C Developed colour-separation images on photoconductors 14 are -transferred in register on to a receiver 18 on a roller 17. Belts 11, 11<SP>1</SP>, 11<SP>11</SP> move the photoconductors 14 into positions, defined by pins 16, such that corresponding portions of adjacent photoconductors are spaced a distance equal to the circumference of roller 17 when supporting receiver 18. A belt 21 then moves a frame 19 and thus roller 17 across the photoconductors. A gear. 26 rotates the roller 17 by engaging a rack 27. A ring 24 joined to roller 17 and gear 26 rides a rail 25 integral with rack 27 to space correctly the surfaces of the receiver 18 and photoconductors 14 during transfer.
