Abstract

1275606 Letting-off warps NORTH AMERICAN ROCKWELL CORP 1 Oct 1969 [20 Nov 1968] 48151/69 Heading DIE A braking device 36 for a warp beam 21 is controlled by a sensing device 29 which senses the angle of the warps 22 extending from the beam to a support roller 23. The device 29 comprises a rod which extends into the warp sheet 22, the rod being supported by a pivoted arm 30 and being connected by a linkage 28, 27, 31, 34 to a brake actuating cylinder 38 As the angle of the warp sheet alters from 22 to 22' the device 29 decreases the braking pressure. A tensioning roller 26 is supported by a lever 25 pivoted at 24 and lever 27 is pivoted on the lower arm of lever 25.
