Abstract

1275125 Dishwasher rack R ETTINGLER JNR 29 Sept 1969 [1 Oct 1968] 47729/69 Heading A4F [Also in Division B8] A rack for supporting dishware comprises a base structure having an apertured bed 24 and side walls 28 with posts 34, a gridwork of thin, broad dividers 14, 16 in two sets of rows intersecting perpendicularly at low points 20 of their scalloped upper edges 18 to define dishware receiving openings, the dividers having depending legs 22 and being attached at their opposite ends to a frame which is supported on posts 36 of an intermediate frame supported on the posts 34 of the base structure, and means (46), Fig.6 (not shown) connecting the frames to the side walls 28 of the base structure. As described the rack is held assembled by split pins (46, 70) Figs. 6-14 (not shown) which extend through aligned apertures 42 in the rails 12 of the topmost frame and the posts and engage beneath the ends of the posts 34 in the base structure. The number of intermediate frames (which may or may not have a gridwork of dividers) is varied according to the size of the dishware to be carried. The bed consists of a plurality of crisscrossing members 26.
