Abstract

1,274,486. Masted lift truck attachments. CLARK EQUIPMENT CO. 7 July, 1969 [17 July, 1968], No. 34113/69. Heading B8H. A load carrying attachment for a lift truck comprises a plate 30 provided with downwardlyextending brackets 32, 34, which are adapted to be engaged by the upper edge 40 of the lifting carriage 14, and with pairs of lugs 36, 38, which are adapted to embrace spaced upright members of the lifting carriage. The lugs 36, 38 and the upright members are formed with apertures for the reception of locking pins. The plate 30 is provided with diverging guides 54, 56 to assist alignment of the plate with the lifting carriage. The attachment may comprise a load pusher assembly 20, a side shift assembly, Fig. 2B (not shown), or a gripper assembly, Fig. 2C (not shown). Alternative shapes of brackets and lugs are described, Figs. 9-11 (not shown).
