A foldable building of two-storey height comprises a rigid central core including lower and upper floor sections 44, 52 interconnected in vertically spaced relation, a pair of lower floor and a pair of upper floor-wing sections 46, 64 pivotally connected to the core to form extensions of said floor sections respectively, side wall panels such as 72 hinged to the floor wing sections to form the side walls of the erected building, pivotable end wall panels such as 76 forming with the core the opposed end walls of the building and means, such as hinge bolts, to attach the wing sections, side-and end-wall panels in position.
