Abstract

1,272,206. Selective printing. CASIO COMPUTER K. K. 21 May, 1970 [23 May, 1969; 10 July, 1969], No. 24674/70. Heading B6F. A manual recording device controlled by a computer 13 comprises an ink emitter 12 directly controlled by the computer in response to signals indicating displacement of the emitter with respect to a record medium. The displacement is detected by a rolling wheel 20 driving a toothed wheel 18 acting on a switch 19. The ink emitter 12 includes X-Y deflection plates for the ink. The wheel 18 may prevent reverse rotation of the wheel by ratchet mechanism, or may generate signals by magnetic or optical means.
