Abstract

1,271,887. Container closures; portable containers. G. HANSEN. 7 May, 1970 [10 May, 1969], No. 21963/70. Headings B8D and B8T. A container 1 and its closure head are formed in one piece, e.g. by moulding from plastics material the container being filled before the head is formed, the head being in two parts, a cap part 3 and a neck part 2, the latter having an external screwthread 4 and the cap part 3 a corresponding internal thread 5, these two parts being interconnected by a frangible area 6, e.g. an annulus, so that the part 3 can be broken from the remainder of the assembly and subsequently screwed on to the part 2 as a closure cap abutting a flange 7. Alternatively the top of part 2 may abut a similar flange inside the cap part 3, which may also have a milled grip 8.
