Abstract

A brake master cylinder assembly in which a pedal operated piston delivers hydraulic fluid under pressure to slave cylinders via ports or passages in the cylinder wall, fluid being returned when pedal pressure is released has a pair of passages 15, 16 each controlled by a normally closed one-way valve, the valves opening in opposite directions to provide separate outlet and return connections between the pressure space and the slave cylinders.
