SPETSIALNOE KONSTRUKTORSKOE BJURO TYAZHELYRH TSVETNYKH METALLOV, and BALKHASHSKY ORDENA LENINA GORNO - METALLURGICHESKY KOMBINAT IMENI 50 - LETIA OKTYABRSKOI REVOLJUTSII. 17 June, 1969 [17 June, 1968 (2)], No. 35450/71. Divided out of 1,271,531. Heading B3F. An oxygen-free Cu strand is withdrawn from a continuous casting mould by means (such as rolls) whose pressure on the cast strand does not exceed 3 Kg./mm.<SP>2</SP> (about 4200 lbs./in.<SP>2</SP>). The surfaces of the withdrawal means contacting the strand are of a resin-dipped fabric laminate material, Textolite (Registered Trade Mark), having a modulus of elasticity less than that of the Cu strand. The rolls are as described in the Specification 1,271,531.
