Abstract

1,271,003. Valves. CAROMA SALES PTY. Ltd. 1 Dec., 1969 [2 Dec., 1968], No. 58570/69. Heading F2V. A tap comprises a spindle 9 screw-threadably engaging a nut 8, fixed to a housing 1, and carrying a seal 19 engageable with a seat 3 by rotation of a knob 11 which is prevented from moving axially with respect to the housing 1 by a flange 10 on the nut 8. The knob engages the spindle 9 by splines 23.
