Spring devices.-In rear spring suspension for the frames of motor-cycles wherein the wheel axle is carried by a pivoted fork l and controlled by springs on the two sides of the wheel, the springs h are placed so that their lower ends rest upon a gear-wheel casing o and upon a brake casing at the opposite side of the wheel, the upper ends of the springs being connected to the rear portion j of the frame or members in firm connexion therewith. The motor-driven shaft and the shaft for driving the rear wheel by bevel or other gearwheels are jointed together on the axis of the pivots n.
