Abstract

1,269,759. Gutter brackets. C. W. ERIKSSONS PLATSLAGERI EFTR A.B. 10 July, 1970 [24 July, 1969], No. 33555/70. Heading E1B. Guttering is supported in stirrups 11 mounted between slides 8 in guide channels 6 of opposed limbs 4; 5 of a U shaped bracket, each slide having a pair of horizontal spaced holes in line with a pair of vertical rows of holes in the guide channel, so that the shank 20 of a screw 19 may be passed through aligned holes to lock the stirrup in a number of positions. The holes in the slide or the rows in each row are offset by vertically half a pitch of the rows. The U shaped bracket is fixed to a building by a angle member 25. The gutter is secured in the stirrups by a beaded edge engaging channel 12, and the projection 14 of the stirrup being bent over the other edge. A cornice or fascia is secured to the U-shaped brackets.
