Abstract
1,269,755. Toy building brick. LION INDUSTRIAL CO. Ltd. 27 May, 1970, No. 25437/70. Heading A6S. A toy building brick comprising a rectangular parallelepipedal hollow body open at one face and having projections 8 on the opposed face arranged symmetrically in two rows and spaced so that they may enter the opening of another brick and engage frictionally the inner face of the two side walls 5 and 6 is characterised by two internal longitudinal walls 11, 12 which are connected to end walls 3 over a distance less than their whole height 13. The internal walls are spaced transversely such that they may be resiliently deformed when a projection is engaged between a side wall and an internal wall. The projections are preferably of a height such that their leading ends will stop short of a line joining the ends of the connecting portions 13 and the walls are preferably of a height which stops short of the plane of the opening of the body. They may be divided into a number of longitudinal sections by means of recesses 15 in the walls. Projections 16 may be provided in side walls 5 and 6 to facilitate the location of the projections 8.
