Abstract

1,269,122. Dual pedal controls. C.M.I. PRODUCTS Ltd. 20 Oct., 1970 [21 Oct., 1969], No. 51492/69. Heading B7H. A dual pedal control, especially for fitting to vehicles used for driving tuition, has a throttle pedal 38, a brake pedal 40, and a clutch pedal 40 which actuate concentric shafts 10, 11 and 12 respectively which through levers 32, 34 and 36 and linkages 43, 45 and 47 actuate levers 44, 46 and 47. The levers 44, 46 and 47 are carried on concentric shafts (21), (22), Fig. 2 (not shown), and 23, Fig. 1, which actuate duplicate pedals 49, 50 and 48 provided with return springs (52), (54), Fig. 2 (not shown). In another embodiment, Fi4. 4 (not shown), pedals (89), (91) and (93) are arranged for left-hand drive, duplicate pedals (101), (97) and (100) being actuated through concentric shafts and linkages as described with reference to Fig. 1.
