Abstract

1,265,815. Developing electrostatic images. EASTMAN KODAK CO. March 13, 1969 [March 13, 1968], No. 13311/69. Heading G2H. An electro-graphic cascade developing apparatus has a plate 2 with an inclined stepped surface 3 for returning developer to a feed position above a surface 1 bearing an image to be developed. The surface 3 is reciprocated by an oscillating driver 6 to propel the developer upwardly, or is given an orbital motion by eccentric drives (15) and (16), Fig. 3 (not shown). The plate 2 may be electrically biased to serve as a development electrode.
