Abstract
1,265,122. Towing trailers. TOTER Inc. 29 Jan., 1970, No. 4342/70. Heading B7B. The draw bar 2 of a tow trailer is pivotally connected to an axle 1 and to wheels 8, 10 via a linkage 16, 18, 26, 19 which causes the wheels to swivel on pivotal movement of the bar, and the support arms 28, 30 for a vehicle to be towed are pivotable about pins 40, 42 to a stowed position wherein they are connected at 44 to the bar to prevent pivotal movement thereof. Pins 40, 42 are carried by brackets 36, 38 which have inner surfaces bevelled at 56, 58, the surfaces allow arms 28, 30 to be inwardly inclined in the stowed position.
