Abstract

1,263,194. Marine signalling apparatus. S. W. BENGTSSON. 9 Sept., 1969 [13 Sept., 1968], No. 44484/69. Heading G4F. A light signalling device for installation on a ship provides groups of flashes to indicate different manouvres of the ship and is designed so that if the control switch is turned off during a group of flashes, the signal is completed. In the circuit shown a switch 17 energizes one of the relays 21 which closes one of the switches E1 . . . E 4 and starts motor M which drives cams D1 . . . D 4 one of which operates lamps 16 in a desired sequence of flashes. A holding contact F maintains the lamps in operation until the starting position shown is reached. A green pilot light 41 indicates that the programme coupling mechanism is in its starting position. A red light 30 indicates that the signal lights are operating.
