Abstract

1,261,017. Ignition systems. WIPAC DEVELOPMENT Ltd. Jan.31, 1969 [Jan.31, 1968], No.4881/68. Heading F1B. A magneto ignition system for an internal combustion engine comprises a magneto having a feed coil 1 and a trigger coil 8 arranged to be energized by a common magnet, a condenser 3 and a full wave bridge rectifier 2 for charging the condenser from the feed coil and means for discharging the condenser through the primary winding of an ignition coil 4. The means comprises a controlled rectifier 6 having its control electrode connected to the trigger coil of the magneto.
