Abstract

1,260,737. Coatings. KOPPERS CO. Inc. 19 Dec., 1969 [19 Dec., 1968], No. 62119/69. Heading B2E. [Also in Division C3] A metal plate is coated with a solution in an organic solvent of a mixture of chlorinated rubber, a fatty polyamide resin, an epoxy containing stabiliser, e.g. epichlorohydrin, and a heavy oil. The composition may contain lampblack and plasticiser. The solution is preferably made by the "two can" technique and applied by spraying or painting. The composition is a primer for coal tar enamels.
