Abstract

1,259,207. Clips. F. T. PRODUCTS Ltd. 15 July, 1970 [25 July, 1969], No. 37632/69. Addition to 917,898. Headings E2A and E2B. A resilient fastener for attaching an elongate article 19 such as a cable to an apertured panel 22 is of substantially M-shape and comprises two spaced generally parallel stems 11, 12 joined by a U-shaped portion 13, one of the stems 11 being formed with a projection 17 on the inside face thereof and directed upwardly towards the portion 13, the other stem 12 being reversely bent so as to form a retaining limb 14, at least one prong 18 being provided on the portion 13 so as to extend downwardly adjacent the stem 12. As shown, the stem 11 has two spaced lugs 16, 17 and the portion 13 has an arcuately curved part for reception of the cable. In a modification, the lip 15 is omitted, and the free end of the limb 14 is provided with claws adapted to bear against the undersurface of the panel 20.
