Abstract
1,257,667. Weft patterning mechanism for shuttleless looms. NORTH AMERICAN ROCKWELL CORP. 15 May, 1969 [30 July, 1968], No. 24723/69. Heading D1E. One or other of two bars 42, 43, which operate weft guides and which are moved to the right by cams acting on rollers 44, 45, is prevented from returning to the left under spring loading by a plunger 80 or 81 entering a notch 84 or 85 in the bar. When a pattern mechanism 77 pulls a rod 76, a lobe 78 on a triangular lever 75 depresses the plunger 80 and allows a spring 82 to lift the plunger 81. When the pattern mechanism releases the rod 76, a spring 83, which is stronger than the spring 82, lifts the plunger 80 and rocks the lever 75 to depress the plunger 81. U.S. Specifications 3,323,556 and 2,604,123 are referred to.
