Abstract

1,257,353. Tooth brushes. F. VERGA. April 23, 1969 [May 24, 1968], No.20815/69. Heading A4K. [Also in Division F1] A tooth-brush carrying body 6 is screwed on to a propellent pressurized dispensing can 1 and a push-button 10 located in an opening 13 in the carrying body operates the stem 3 of a tilting stem dispensing valve 30 on the can. The stem 3 passes through a bore 60 in the button 10, and the button is located in the opening 13 by three projections (16, 26, 36), Fig. 2 (not shown), at the opening engaging in grooves (18, 19, 20) in the button. The bore 23 in the body 6 communicates with the bristles 7 through openings 22, 25, 29, 27 of increasing diameter in the direction of flow to provide a uniform flow of dentifrice to the bristles.
