Abstract

1,256,435. Impulse generators. INTERNATIONAL STANDARD ELECTRIC CORP. 13 March, 1969 [14 March, 1968], No. 13391/69. Heading H4K. A dial mechanism includes a base-plate 1 having a centrally disposed bearing for a plastics shaft 2 which projects through the plate and carries at one end an impulse wheel 10 and a governor (not shown) and at the other end a finger plate 7 and main spring 4 which has one end engaging the base-plate and the other end engaging a device 5 comprising a hub with a plurality of radial arms 3, integral with the shaft, which locates one or more turns of the spring. One radial arm 3 engages the end of the spring and the others contact the spring alternately onthe front and rear sides. Two diametrically opposed arms 5 are provided with lugs which engage with parts of cover plate 6 which extend through holes 13 in finger plate 7.
