Abstract

1,253,918. Electric couplings. SIEMENS A.G. 27 Nov., 1969 [28 Nov., 1968], No. 57977/69. Heading H2E. A terminal clip 2 for the connection of a bared conductor 4 to a pin 1 of square crosssection is formed with two claws 6 which both overlie the longitudinal centre line of the face of the pin with which they are in contact. The slot 3 between the claws may be of several shapes. The slot (9, Figs. 3, 4, not shown) may have a part at right angles to the longitudinal direction of the pin or may have parts only parallel to and at right angles to the longitudinal direction of the pin (Figs. 6, 7, not shown). The claws 6 may be bent either, as shown in Fig. 2, to meet the pin at right angles or to meet the pin at acute angles.
