Abstract

1,253,668. Aerosol adhesives. NORTON CO. 12 Nov., 1968 [20 Dec., 1967], No. 53686/68. Heading C4X. [Also in Division C3] An adhesive suitable for spraying by aerosol means comprises an organic solution or dispersion of a mixture of polychloroprene rubber, reclaim rubber, and a resinous material. The resin is preferably a heat-advancing phenolic resin. In Examples 1-3 magnesium and zinc oxides, toluene, hexane and an anti-oxidant are also included, and the propellant is dichlorodifluoromethane or propane. Butane is also disclosed as a propellant.
