A board comprises a base of rigid expanded plastics material having on one or both faces a facing laminate of paper/water-impervious plastics sheet material/paper board. Specified water-impervious plastics materials are polypropylene, polystyrene and polyethylene, and specified expanded plastics materials are polyvinyl chloride, polystyrene, polyethylene, phenol formaldehyde resin, urea-formaldehyde resin, isocyanurate foam and polyurethane foam.
