Abstract

1,079,249. Laminates. FOME COR CORPORATION. Aug. 18, 1964, No. 33728/64. Heading B5N. Sheet material securable to a wall as a base for plaster comprises a resinous foam layer having on one or both faces a layer of absorbent paper to which plaster is adherent. Suitable resinous foams comprise those of alkyd resins, polyurethanes, P.V.C., phenolic resins, epoxy and urea resins, and polystyrene. In an example polystyrene and porous paper sheets are hot-pressed together.
