Abstract

125,335. Furlong, W. J. Nov. 27, 1918. Corsets and abdominal belts; seams; stiffeners. -Flat spiral steel stiffeners, for corsets, abdominal belts, and the like are secured in the curved seams thereof. The edges of the sections A of the corset &c. are folded over and superposed as shown at B, the stiffener C placed between them, and the whole stitched at D, D' to form the seams. The stiffeners are secured in position by cross-stitching in alinement with the lower end of the busk.
