Abstract

[Also in Divisions B4-B5] A dip-moulded cover for the body of a power tool such as a drill, screw-driver or nut tightener comprises a hollow body 4 having internal ribs 7 to engage the tool, a front aperture 5 through which the functional part of the tool projects, a rear aperture through which the handle of the tool projects, and a hole 6 for lubricating purposes. The cover may be of P.V.C. or polythene which may be foamed if desired. In a second embodiment, a cylindrical tool 22 is covered by a corrugated cover 20, 24, the functional part of the tool 21 projecting from an aperture in the cover.
