Abstract
1,252,249. Feeding dough-like material on to a conveyer belt. KOMBINAT FORTSCHRITT LANDMASCHINEN VEB. 2 July, 1970, No. 32042/70. Heading B8A. Apparatus for depositing continuously fed strip material in superimposed layers, comprising feeding means 2, 3, arranged to feed the strip material to an upper end of a telescopic carrier frame having guide means for the material, the carrier frame being pivotally mounted at 18 near its upper end and guided at 29 near its lower end along a path 28 located at a fixed spacing above a receiving surface 26 for the material, and means 30 for reciprocating the carrier frame in such a manner that during each unidirectional movement of the carrier frame, its angular velocity decreases from an initial maximum value at or near the start of that movement (Fig. 2, not shown), to a minimum value at or near the end of that movement. As shown, the material is dough, and the surface 26 is provided by a conveyer belt. The guide means comprises endless conveyer belts 4, 5, maintained under tension as the telescopic movement of the carrier frame proceeds. A suitable shaped cam 30 and linkage 31, 32, provides the movement of the frame with the necessary change in velocity.
