1,249,983. Clutch control. SMITHS INDUSTRIES Ltd. 10 Jan., 1969 [10 Oct., 1967], No. 46338/67. Addition to 929,761. Headings F2C and F2L. The torque-controlled clutch mechanism of the parent Specification is modified by forming the recess 132 wider, so that sustained application of overload torque is required to force follower roller 133 out of the recess 132 to disengage the electromagnetic clutch 112. As described, the clutch mechanism forms part of a multiplex control channel system described in Specification 1,249,982.
