1,249,813. Valves. BROBY ARMATURFABRIK AB. 30 May, 1969, No. 27394/69. Heading F2V. A closure member 4 which co-operates with a seat 2 is moved rectilinearly off the seat and is then rotated through 90‹ by the action of an eccentric 14 on a manually-actuated shaft 6 rotating in a hole 12 of a plate 11 that is pivoted at 10 to the closure member support 5 and cooperates with an arcuate guide surface (17) thereon and the action of a fixed D-shaped plate 16 on the shaft bearing co-operating with a slot 18 in the support formed of two intersecting D- shaped portions.
