Abstract

1,248,116. Article dispensers. PHILIP MORRIS Inc. April 10, 1969 [April 19, 1968], No. 18339/69. Heading A4T. A blade dispenser comprises a magazine 12 containing a stack 22 for dispensing in the hand or attachment to a wall plate 126, Fig. 4 by engaging the top 18 under plate hooks 134 and magazine bottom lugs 48 behind plate openings, spring 154 loading a pad 150, guided in the plate and extending through plate and magazine slots, on top of the stack of blades. The bottom 72 of the magazine has raised platforms 74, 76, Fig. 1 on which the stack rests and in the space 87 between them is received a sliding dispensing tray 52, pivoted at 108-116, of thickness comparable to that of a blade, with a pair of lugs 60, 62 for engaging rear blade notches and being a finger piece 56 whereby the tray moves through magazine slot 50. On sliding the tray into space 87, lugs 60, 62 slide under the bottom blade and snap in the blade notches. On pulling the tray outwards, the lugs push the bottom blade out on top of the tray.
