Abstract

1,246,365. Releasable fastenings. R. MAINETTI, M. MAINETTI, G. MAINETTI and L. MAINETTI [trading as F. M. F.LLI MAINETTI DI MAINETTI ROMEO & C S.N.C.], 17 July, 1969, No. 35974/69. Heading E2A. [Also in Division A4] A rail 1, detachably mounted by end members 12 on opposed walls of a container, is of ovoidal tubular section and has a longitudinal T-section rib with transverse notches 3 to receive the hooks of garment hangers, a member 6 of C-shaped section being slid longitudinally on the rib to retain the hooks in respective notches. A rupturable seal is passed through co-incident apertures 7, 8. The rail is made of a synthetic plastics material and has internal flanges 10, 11 between which the edges of a metal re-enforcement 9 are received. The end members 12 each consist of a channelsection portion, engaging a wall of the container, and a portion of ovoidal section received in an end of the rail, fins 15 engaging in apertures 16 in the rail to prevent disengagement.
